Here’s a nice list of mobile skills that employers search for most often. While it’s an interesting list, a commenter summed it up the best: There’s just too much to learn. Companies can’t possibly afford to bring in all of these extra skills to develop mobile apps. That’s one reason I recommend the mobile web app approach for business. It gets you to mobile without all of the effort.

Gartner just concluded it’s ITxpo 2013, in which it shared the top tech trends going into next year. Not surprisingly, mobile tops the list. Does anything on their list surprise you?
