December 2024 Oak Brook, IL
Today, software developer michaels, ross & cole, ltd. (mrc) announces significant platform updates to the m-Power Development Platform, including Tomcat 10 support and enhanced color coding capabilities. m-Power is a low-code development platform that businesses use across their organizations to create web applications such as report-writing, business intelligence, executive dashboards, customer portals, and workflow apps to name a few.
Strategic Platform Modernization
As part of mrc's ongoing commitment to security and performance, m-Power now supports integration with Tomcat 10. This update prepares m-Power for an important transition to Spring 6, as the current Spring 5 library approaches end-of-life status. Clients can access detailed upgrade instructions through m-Power's documentation, or contact mrc's support team to arrange assisted implementation.
Enhanced Color Coding Features
Along with platform modernization, this release introduces powerful improvements to m-Power's color coding capabilities. Developers can now:
- Create and save reusable color coding ranges
- Apply conditional coloring rules pre-compile
- Maintain color logic even after HTML overrides
- Share color ranges across applications and dictionaries
"Security and stability are foundational to m-Power's success," says Tyler Wassell, mrc's Director of Software Development. "By staying ahead of these important infrastructure updates, we ensure our clients can continue building secure, reliable applications with confidence."
