Today, michaels, ross & cole, ltd. (mrc) announces a strategic partnership with EXTOL International. This partnership combines EXTOL’s Business Integrator (EBI) solution with mrc’s m-Power Development Platform. Together, these solutions help businesses quickly connect with trading partners and improve data access and visibility across all platforms.
What is EBI?
The EXTOL Business Integrator is a software platform that businesses use to integrate data and applications without coding. It quickly integrates application data, trading partner data, and cloud data with internal systems and external partner systems. The EBI platform acts as a centralized hub that connects all types of data—both internal data and external (customer/vendor/partner) data.
What is m-Power?
m-Power is a web application development platform that automates web and mobile application development. Businesses use m-Power to gain easy access to their business data. It lets users create all types of web applications without coding, such as report-writing, Business Intelligence, executive dashboards, e-commerce, customer portals, and mobile applications to name a few.
m-Power + EBI
This partnership combines the power of both platforms. The EBI platform pulls data from both internal systems and external partner systems into a centralized location. The m-Power Platform lets businesses turn that data into easily accessible, meaningful management information. This helps businesses:
- Improve data visibility: m-Power creates reporting apps, BI apps, and dashboards that seamlessly connect to the EBI platform. These applications give EXTOL customers a clear view of all aspects of their data.
- Improve data access: m-Power generates applications that automatically adapt to any device. This lets EXTOL customers access their data from anywhere, across desktop, mobile, and tablet platforms.
- Create custom applications quickly: m-Power automates web (and mobile web) application development. Businesses can quickly create any type of application over their data, from database update apps to customer portals and everything in between.
"We strive to make data more accessible through a development platform even those without an IT background can implement and understand," said Sal Stangarone, partner at mrc. "With m-Power, EXTOL is able to provide increased capabilities to EBI users that will improve businesses’ visibility across all of their data."
"Partnering with mrc has been a seamless process as we continue to improve data integration and visibility for customers," said Mark Denchy, director of worldwide partner program at EXTOL. "m-Power’s sophisticated dashboard provides our customers with the enhanced view of critical information from applications and trading partners, whenever and wherever they need it."
