Today, software developer mrc announces the release of an "SQL Composer" within the m-Power Development Platform. m-Power is an enterprise low-code development platform that businesses use across their organizations. It creates web applications such as report-writing, business intelligence, executive dashboards, customer portals, database front-ends, and workflow apps to name a few.

The SQL Composer
This release builds on that core principle, delivering more customization options to advanced users in the form of an SQL Composer. The SQL Composer lets users write their own custom SQL statements when building applications. Rather than build over a pre-defined database table as normal, this feature adds another option for those familiar with SQL.
Use Cases
This feature is useful to m-Power developers who:
- Have an existing (and often complex) SQL statement that they want to bring into m-Power but would rather not “recreate the wheel” by reconstructing it in m-Power.
- Want to use advanced SQL components currently not available in m-Power, such as unions, cross joins, or mixed join types.
- Just like the flexibility of writing their own SQL code.
